The Emergency Budget 2010

22nd June 2010

The Emergency Budget to take place today (22 June, 2010) is expected to have far reaching implications for the finances of most households and businesses.

On 23 June, 2010, Pearson Hinchliffe Financial Services will provide a summary on our website. It will summarise the key points and the consequences for the following areas:

  • Estate planning including Inheritance Tax considerations
  • Pensions
  • Saving
  • Investing
  • Income Tax
  • Welfare and benefits
  • VAT
  • Corporations Tax
  • Capital Gains Tax
  • National Insurance contributions

We await the details to emerge in the Chancellor’s speech. However, given that the ‘austerity budget’ is predicted to leave the majority with a little less to spend each month, now may be a good opportunity to get in touch with us to see if we can help you make your investments, plans and finances work that little bit harder for you.
